The work recreates a nonexistent home movie to confront the amusement park as a manufactured site of family leisure and entertainment. Through specific gestures of the gaze, the work highlights the awkwardness of being in such a place without any family structure, the status of the immigrant body within the North American cityscape, and the performativity of capitalist pass time.
